(this one right here is Dope! A kombination od Do D.A.T.’s amazing rhyming skills along with Will bracy’s beat, it really don’t get no better! The baseline in this song has me hooked. Also Davin is Releasing a new project the Skinny 2: Barebones on June 15th!
So, I have really been feeling #Black Hippy, especially #KendrickLamar #Ab-Soul and #ScHoolboy Q’s Album #Setbacks. I’m starting to check out Jay Rock a little bit too. Yesterday, May 11th, Ab-Soul released his album #ControlSystem and I am really Enjoying it! My favorite tracks on here so far, are:
Soulo Ho3 (Introduction)
Empathy (which is love/sex type song)
ILLuminate (1st off the beat is dope, along with the hook! Kendrick and Ab-Soul Goes in!)
Book of Soul (This song is Amazing! He speaks about his life/ his relationship #AloriJah and her passing away)
Double Standard (this joint! He went in about sexism/ the way men and women are treated differently in sexual relationships and sex scandals. he makes a reference about the amber cole situation saying we know about her but not about the male that also took part in the sexual activity behind the school.)
Some others i also really liked are Lust Demons, Beautiful Death, and A Rebellion
